Zepbound (tirzepatide) injection 

This medication was approved by the FDA on November 8, 2023 for weight loss.

Zepbound showed superior results in weight loss, and less side effects, when compared to the previous medications like Ozempic (semaglutide).

In fact, I tried semaglutide on my patients a couple of years ago and gave up because the failure rate was so high.

But the literature, and seeing the results in family and non-weight loss patients, have convinced me to provide this medication in my clinic.

The Zepbound program will be monthly visits but be more intensive on the initial education.  You will need to have recent lab work or it will be ordered.

Your insurance will be billed for the monthly visits and there will be no cost to you unless your insurance does not reimburse us.  Like the Phentermine program, the maximum out-of-pocket cost to you if your insurance does not pay is no more than 60.00 a month.  

The self-pay price will remain at 60.00.

Because of the extra time required at the first visit, we may require you to make an appointment.

We will also have to get pre-authorization in most cases.
